[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Mori is a teenager who wants to be the greatest Knight ever known, but is struggling to find what makes her special in a world where everyone is more than human. Morielle Aisling, a jackalope girl with the ability to animate objects with a touch, has just become a squire in the Manu Knighthood alongside a class of determined youths. To prove herself, she’ll need to deal with childhood trauma, tense political conflicts and a few too many people eager for human experimentation.
