In a cramped, messy apartment lit only by the glow of three monitors, Harry Waterson discovers the girl he loved has been cheating on him for months. Heartbroken and furious, he does the only thing that still brings him peace: he sits down to play his favorite game and carefully feeds his beloved ant colony one last time. Then his heart stops. Death should have been the end. Instead, Harry is ripped from his failing body and hurled across the void into the eternal Realm of the Ant God — a colossal throne chamber carved from living obsidian and pulsing with billions of tiny lights, each one an insect soul. There, the primordial Ant God awaits. Towering, ancient, and radiating merciless divine power, the Ant God offers Harry a single chance at a new existence. No second life as a human. No ordinary reincarnation. He will become Antares Antis, the last true Ant King, sovereign of a forgotten Insectoid Empire that once ruled the depths of the world. Bound by the Insect God System, Antares is given one divine mandate: rise from the ruins of a dying hive, unite every fractured insect race — ants, beetles, wasps, spiders, scorpions, locusts, and more — and rebuild the Insectoid Empire to its former terrifying glory. Evolve them. Command them. Turn the lowliest pests into an unstoppable swarm that will one day swallow the surface world. From a single dying queen and a handful of starving larvae, a new legend begins. The surface kingdoms have no idea what is about to crawl out from below. This is Ascension of the Ant King — the story of a broken man who died feeding ants… and woke up as their god-king. Ruthless kingdom-building. Brutal evolution. Dark conquest. Unapologetic power. Harem. Zero mercy. The insects are coming home. And the world will drown in chitin and blood.
