There has never been a case Julia Sterling failed to solve. A brilliant, courageous, and formidable advocate, she has always relied on logic, evidence, and the unshakable certainty of science. But this case is different. The wealthy and influential Blackwood family-icons of modern high society are a living vault of secrets and silent tensions. For the past two months, repeated attempts have been made on the life of their family head. Desperate, they bring the case to court, placing their trust in Julia. Drawn into the Blackwood estate, she moves through its silent, modern corridors, where every room seems to hold fragments of a reality that refuses to align with logic. The family remains polished and untouchable in public, yet behind closed doors, they guard something far older and darker than their wealth suggests. Julia investigates everyone. Rational and firmly anti-religious, she filters every clue through science, determined to dismantle the mystery piece by piece. But the deeper she digs, the more her certainty begins to fracture. What she finds does not follow rules. It does not leave proof. It only leaves traces—disturbing, unexplainable, and impossible to present in a courtroom. For the first time, Julia begins to question not just the case but herself. As the line between reason and darkness slowly dissolves, she is left with a choice. Will she fight to expose the truth or become another piece of evidence that no one can ever explain?
