A story about needing control in a world without any. Guy Cuard is the night janitor at Franklin Office Tower III. He counts everything. Mop strokes, footprints, steps to his basement apartment. He times his showers, logs his cleaning sessions, and keeps a drawer full of color-coded toothbrushes. He doesn't talk to people if he can help it. His roommate Argus handles that part. His life is small and controlled and that's exactly how he wants it.When a portal tears open in the city park and drops a dragon into their world, a magical system latches onto Guy and Argus. His obsessive cleaning habits become his skill tree. Suddenly, his bleach spray is an area-of-effect spell and his scrub brush is a single-target attack. Now he has to level up, fight mutant rats in the sewers, and figure out how to save a city full of people he's spent his whole life avoiding.
