Drizella Tremaine awoke with a headache and a head full of memories that didn't belong in a fairy tale. Memories of modern business, ruthless capitalism, and a 21st-century life. She isn't just the "wicked stepsister" anymore. Discovering her family is drowning in debt and bound by an inescapable "Role-Contract" to a terrifying Narrative System, Drizella realizes the game is rigged. The "Story" demands they be the villains. So be it. No fairy godmothers. No waiting for a prince. Armed with her modern intellect, Drizella will build a textile monopoly, manipulate court politics, and crush the magical Narrative Weavers using the most ruthless magic of all: Economics. What to Expect: Rational/Strategic Lead: Drizella uses logic, ledgers, and monopolies to fight magic.System Defiance: A hard-magic battle against the "Story" that forces characters into tragic roles.Kingdom Building: Pure business manipulation and dark fairy tale elements. (Note: This is the sequel/spinoff to The First Ink. You can read this as a standalone, but check out the prequel on my profile to see the tragic origin of the Evil Stepmother!)
