The Collective's Identity

There is no continuous peace in the City, is what Aemilia was taught by her coworkers during her first few weeks of working for E-corp. But without the memories of the life she lived previous to those teachings, she casts a shadow of doubt into those ideals and lives by her own, happy-go-lucky doctrine. Help others if help is desired, or optimal. Do not fear exterior thoughts, as their minds might just be clouded by overwork. And specially, don't question what does not need to be questioned! Follow Aemilia as she tries to nurture her idea of what it means to be, all while a ton of people die nonstop, at any moment, for any cause. The city hates everyone equally, and you are no exception. _______________________________________ This novel is deeply inspired by Project Moon's works, but aside from a bit of terminology and some similar concepts it does not share any similarities to their work. Romance won't be anywhere close to the main focus of the story, but there will be various couples with different sexualities and stuff around, even if not as a focus. The protagonist herself strictly appreciates the female body. I'm more than happy to add any reader as a small character if they want to. Beware that death is almost certain unless I think the character could be used for something slightly bigger. Nothing more important than a side character in a mini arc though. I appreciate any and all feedback, specially since english isn't my second language. There will be some elements of progression, similar to a LitRPG, but all the stats merely showcase the abilities that a being is already capable of doing, it makes zero change in the how powerful someone is department, just as a measuring tool. I am mostly writing this story because I really like project moon, but it won't be anywhere close to my priority. Expect irregular releases, but feel free to annoy me if I'm taking too long. It often happens that I'm just lazy lol. (Cover is AI at the moment, but that was the only use of AI in the whole novel)
