Rick Holloway was done with war. Twenty years hiding on a dust-choked rock at the edge of nowhere, drinking bad beer and pretending the past stayed buried. It didn’t. When a stranger shows up with one name — Pete — everything comes crashing back.Old crew. Old ghosts. And a war they never really finished. Now Rick’s being dragged off his quiet little graveyard and thrown straight back into the fire: A galaxy locked down by an iron-fisted Order A crew that might hate him more than the enemy And a rescue mission that’s either impossible… or suicidal He’s older. Slower. Rustier. But not done yet. Because some fights don’t care how long you’ve been gone. And some dogs? Still learn new tricks.
