WestKania is a lie. But it's a comfortable one.
Kael Voltaris has spent sixteen years inside its walls—a city of neon skies, humming Treks, and the endless blue glow of Cri-Cores. He has a dead-end job at the company his grandfather founded, a genius best friend who tolerates his nonsense, and a stairwell full of neighbors who treat him like family.
It's peaceful. It's safe. It's boring.
But when a mysterious stranger collides with him outside the library, Kael's quiet life begins to crack. The man knows things he shouldn't. Names that haven't been spoken in years. A father Kael was told died in an accident.
Then Kael finds the video his grandfather left behind.
"Everything you have lived until now was a lie."
Now there's a system on his wrist. A rank of zero. And a choice:
Stay in the paradise his grandfather built—or leave it forever to chase the truth about the parents he never knew.
The world outside WestKania doesn't play by the rules.
And the system doesn't give power for free.

What to Expect:
· Slow-burn mystery disguised as slice-of-life (the calm before the storm)· LitRPG elements that arrive with consequence.

Author's Note:
English is not my first language. I welcome grammar corrections and honest feedback.
This story starts quiet. It won't stay that way.

To any new readers out there: this story is slow-paced because I focus more on world-building and character-driven storytelling. There is action—and a lot of it—but it may take time to arrive. So if you prefer a fast-paced story with an OP MC from the start, there are many great writers and stories out there that you might enjoy—but this isn’t one of them. The MC is boring and weak. Think of this story as if Steins;Gate and Solo Leveling had a baby… but that baby is actually Hunter x Hunter.
