The Squad: A Supernatural Afterlife Military Adventure [The Tourism Board Multiverse]

The Tourism Board built an afterlife for various realities, either for the purpose of giving gods on their continents of Food and Drink a secure afterlife for their faithful or simply to trap lost souls on fantasy-style worlds where twin immortals wage an eternal war and recycle the dead to rebuild the living. Then there is The Nora. The space in between afterlives where the souls are guided through and protected which belong to their respective realities. Hungry things from beyond manifest as monsters and spirits which would break The Nora. Those who patrol, protect and fight in The Nora are given a chance of military service in death. Soldiers across Tourism Board realities who fail are reduced to common fodder, used in the never ending battles until they become dust and forgotten. The Nora is alive and devours a portion of energy from all who inhabit it and the souls which pass through. Only those individuals with strong wills, souls and a desire to have their innermost wish fulfilled are able to sustain themselves in The Nora for extended periods of time. The Old Man is in charge of those soldiers who fight, die or are consumed. The Nora.
