Dungeons appeared, monsters followed, and some people awakened abilities through something called resonance. Those people became the ones who matter. Ren isn’t one of them. He doesn’t have powers, doesn’t care about the system, and mostly keeps to himself. But during a dungeon incident at school, something happens that doesn’t make sense—an awakening that comes at the wrong moment. And Ren was right there when it happened. When it happens again, he starts to notice a pattern. It’s not a coincidence. Ren can’t use powers.But somehow… people awaken around him. Unstable. Unnatural. And definitely not how it’s supposed to work. The more he gets involved, the clearer it becomes— Something about him doesn’t belong in this system at all. What to expect from False Awakening story in the long run: An odd, detached, unmotivated MC who gets dragged into the world’s “system”. Growth from weak to strong but not in a clean or safe way. Every step forward comes with consequences. Strong supporting characters with their own motives, flaws, and unstable abilities. A power system built on so called "resonance" where awakening isn’t always natural… or safe. Creatures and entities that don’t always behave like they should. Items, artifacts, and hidden mechanics tied to the system’s deeper layers. Loyalties, shifting alliances, and betrayals that aren’t always obvious.
