Thalia had learned to appreciate her little life outside the kingdom walls. There was unlimited forest to explore, enough friendly faces, and none of those stingy Royal laws to abide by. If one ignored her occasional thieving - which was preferable by all those around her, anyways - she lived a very relaxing and easy life. That was, until the Queen herself went missing. Now the Royals have pushed their agenda beyond the walls to find her. The King's top Trackers began prowling the forest day and night, rounding up the forest folk for intel, and less and less folk have been making it back out of Everden's walls by the day. The forest has been forced into hiding, food has become harder to come by, and there seems to be no end to this terror in sight. When an unlikely face follows Thalia beyond the kingdom walls after what she thought was a successful heist, she learns very quickly that she can no longer avoid the inevitable. Finding the Queen has now become life or death, and the life on the line is her own.
