Fragile Fates

No one remembers when The Separation happened.  Only that ever since then, the world has been slightly off. Edina takes her daughter to an amusement park, hoping to bring back a smile she hasn’t seen in months. But when time freezes, they’re dragged into the Colosseum, where chosen “gladiators” fight for survival in a world between moments. They survive, somehow. But once you’ve been inside the Colosseum, the normal world never feels real again. As strange events start bleeding into everyday life and others touched by the frozen world cross their path, Edina and Diann realize that the Colosseum isn’t just a place — it’s a symptom of something far greater Across cities and countryside, others touched by that frozen world begin to awaken; mercenaries, scientists, killers, and dreamers, each carrying a piece of the truth. Together, their paths will draw them toward the heart of the world’s wound, and the reason it’s never truly recovered from The Separation. -------An urban novel with my best attempt at realistic characters and stakes both in combat and outside of it. Multiple protagonists with their own agendas and motives, and a wide setting of the city of Luminosa. A contestant for the Writathon, with hopefully 2 chapters a week.
