Mannequin

A mannequin wears someone else's clothes and plays a role that was never its own. I was the best at becoming other people. An assassin  [One last contract before retirement.] Replace a secretly dead young man. Marry his bride in his place. Collect the payment then disappear. Then they slit my throat on the wedding night. But death wasn't the end. I woke up months earlier, inside the same body I was only supposed to wear for a night. And something came back with me. A Reaper.  Feed me, it says, or I feed on you.
