He escaped a dying world. The dying followed him. Alsen has spent his life studying magic. In particular, how to escape the world drying of mana before it became impossible. With the last few drops of mana from the world, he catapulted his soul to another one. No trucks harmed. The transference worked... mostly. He reached an early medieval realm overflowing with mana. The perfect place to start over. But he got company along the way. Her name's Luna. She's a noisy ex-werewolf, whatever that means, from a war-torn medieval world, who someone shoved into Alsen's transference spell. So much for solo leveling. Now, they're both stuck in the bodies of adventurers who died just as they arrived. And the bodies aren't compatible with them. Alsen, capable of wielding an infinite amount of mana, has a body that breaks after one big spell. His glasscannon approach to magic is suddenly all glass not enough cannon. Luna is a foot and a half shorter than she used to be, and is about to multiclass five specializations just to make a shadow of the build she used to have. Yet none of that matters when the six-star phenomenon shows up in the sky. On Earth, it announced the beginning of the end of magic. But Alsen was born long after that. This time, he's there from day one. And he'll stop it. What to expect:1) a LitRPG that's low on the System and high on the characters2) a lot of PvPvE action, where all adventurers have the System, and they aren't shy to use it3) a dual protagonist story with quite a bit of comedy4) a long path of progression from competent to godlike5) a somewhat serious tone in a world with some darker themes6) a journey-type tale akin to Sousou no Frieren or Fullmetal Alchemist7) NOT a harem Release schedule:About a chapter a day for the first month or so, then three chapters a week. I've got over 150k words written and edited, and I'm doing the writathon.
