Gareth Aurol, second prince of the kingdom, is the child of prophecy. A prophecy that will see him put at odds with the world. His advisors, his family, and - eventually - his kingdom will turn on him as the threads of the prophecy begin to unravel before him. He will need to keep his wits about him as he navigates the hostile royal court and juggles the machinations of foreign gods. Including the Old Gods, agents of powerful magic that have a strange obsession with the prophecy. As his powers bloom, their roots dig deeper: revealing the essence of this world, his purpose in it, and the ties that bind every life together in a weave of beauty. Intrigue, chivalry, action and mystery blossom as Gareth comes into his own and chases the Silver Crown of Aurol. The Druids of old have awakened. Their King awaits.
