In a world brought to its knees by a war between the gods, the surviving inhabitants eventually managed after eons to reform their fractured societies and return to a fragile normalcy. That peace did not last. From the festering wounds left behind by the gods’ so-called game, a conflict that nearly annihilated the world, new perils emerged, along with dangerous opportunities to reshape mortal lives. These dangers took the form of Dungeons: warped regions of land created where gods had been cut down. The earth had absorbed their golden blood and broken bodies, giving birth to labyrinths steeped in divine residue. The first person to dare enter one managed to return alive, carrying a new kind of resource: Ichorstone, also known as Aurelic Shards. Deep within each dungeon lies a Deifact, the crystallized authority of the fallen god itself. Those who claim one rises into the skies and joins the ranks of the so-called new gods. Now, kingdoms measure their power by the number of dungeons they control, by how many gods they can birth, and how thoroughly they can bleed these divine remains dry. And somehow, against all reason, a lowly skeleton manages to obtain one of the strongest Deifacts in existence. Surely it will use it to conquer the world… Wait a minute. Is it really using it for gardening? In a world ravaged by gods and monsters, this skeleton will transform his small corner of the world into a beautiful garden, wielding the most dangerous item in the universe. This artifact may have been the very catalyst for the Empyreal Conflict.
