Penda is dead, and Wessex seeks to claim land lost to the last Pagan king of Mercia. The first step is taking the strategic, uncanny hillfort of Baden Burgh. When the blue fades, they are in a different world, surrounded by strange forests inhabited by monsters beyond their wildest imaginations.
