Victor had served the Goddess Lathanyl faithfully for years. To all, he was the Herald of the Goddess of the Dead, Protector of Humanity... Butcher of the Uncivilized Apes... And all it took was one mistake - one single deal made with a seemingly trustworthy merchant to see it all washed away. Now, he was damned, condemned to a Hell outside the purview of the Pantheon. Far away from the gods and further away from his original home, Victor must now struggle to survive the perils of the Pit if he hopes to retain even an ounce of his humanity. Will he rise out and attain salvation, or was he already damned long before he was ever reborn into the Fatherland?
