A young man awakens in a glitchy, unfinished world with no memories—only to discover he’s inside some kind of game‑like “Tutorial Zone.” While others receive powerful combat abilities, he’s assigned a bizarre, seemingly useless skill: Narrative Thread, which lets him see story roles, tropes, and character arcs floating above people’s heads.
