Essence of Cores A Hero’s Journey

This world has cores instead of levels, flairs instead of skills, and leagues instead of guilds.  The world is divided by areas called Climes, which have their own settings and cultures, making it an experience to travel to all the different kinds.  The cores come in three different types, which include 2-piece, 6-piece, and 8-piece, the last of which is the strongest and most rare of all.   Axel, a bounty hunter from the Fallen Summit Clime and part of the Golden West League with the rank of Valkyrie.  He is trying to build a team using his special core that is used for soul summoning.  The soul summoning can only be used once every few years, and he has already summoned one person, a woman named Pagie.  The two of them are going to work together to help save the Climes, find the people who are causing trouble, all while waiting out the cooldown for Axel's soul summoning core.   Will the two of them be able to do all this before the Climes fall into chaos?  Come take the adventure with us and see all the awesome things this world has to offer.    [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
