The borderlands are rotting, and Aiden Mercer just inherited the decay. After waking up in the sickly body of a failed noble heir in the world of Valtheron, he finds himself trapped in a fortress town called Ashwick—a place the rest of the kingdom has already signed off as dead.Unlike the local mages who exhaust their Aether or warriors burning through Vital Force, Aiden possesses a "Lord System" that quantifies loyalty and allows him to rebuild ruins through Ability Points. As the last line of defense against encroaching core beasts, he must use his modern tactical mind to manage a town that hates him and a system that demands blood for progress. Survival isn't just about swinging a sword; it's about making sure the walls don't crumble before the next sunrise.
