The world was split between the steam powered cities in the skies and the primitives down below. Contact between the two was scarce and prolonged interactions have always resulted in war. Though history states that we both occupied the earth, till an event destroyed civilization that created the floating islands where many fled the poised air below, and those left behind became the primitives many made expeditions to the surface to find proof, but few returned and those who did describe weapons and technology that could destroy everything. The populace and governments saw this as hysteria and the warnings ignored ending the expeditions, but one man would find himself involuntary in the banned red zone blockaded by the military running for his life as primitives and the wildlife hunt him while encountering secrets and of the past.
