A camping trip at Birch Lake turns into a waking nightmare when Mara and her friends realize they are not alone in the woods. Hiding among the birch trees is a masked cryptid—silent, deliberate, and savage—that uses the forest itself as a hunting ground. As fear drives the group deeper into the dark, panic tears them apart and every path becomes a trap. With the night closing in and the lake offering little hope, what began as a simple weekend in the wilderness becomes a brutal fight to survive something that seems born from bark, bone, and blood.
