Hero of the Day

A new character is brought to Hawkins to live with her Aunt Joyce and her cousins. She grew up in Hawkins but left in eighth grade to go to Indianapolis with her dad, Ronnie Byers, Lonnie's brother. Growing up in the trailer park she had a dorky older best friend named Eddie. When she comes back into town she finds out that her best friend is a little different than he used to be. The other couples mentioned are in this fic but aren't focused on like Eddie and the Main character.I'd like to suggest to anyone who loves Eddie Munson that you listen to "Hero of the Day" by Metallica, it's always been my favorite of their songs, but now it is so special because it literally sounds like Eddie's song to me. The lyrics and title and all of it, though he'd never have got to hear it in canon.
