Always You, Since 1998

After years of failed confessions, long-distance best friends Devin and Allison finally reunite in South Carolina, but their meeting is derailed by a forced engagement and a devastating storm. Allison survives the surge by taking refuge in a glasshouse Devin secretly built for her, while her unwanted fiancé, Daniel, uses the chaos to successfully cancel their marriage contract.Months later at college, a disguised Allison crosses paths with Daniel, who repeatedly protects her from bullies without knowing her true identity. Just weeks before Devin’s planned 18th birthday confession, the bullies kidnap Allison and Daniel, leaving them stranded on a deserted island. As Devin searches for her in vain, Allison and Daniel are forced to rely on each other to survive.
