It's the story of a man who hates his current way of life. "...after school and institute, I should have become someone great, someone worthy of my old self. I was always the FIRST: maths, algebra, geometry, calculus, and so on — all those TRUE knowledge subjects in life, universal laws. And what am I now... just another office creep, plankton, another IT guy who fixes HTML and CSS bugs... pathetic," mumbled Greg to himself. "You know, it pays the bills, so not that bad. I could have become an alcoholic... ha-ha," he countered himself. He started doing it regularly at some point. Maybe to keep sane, maybe because the once-a-man-with-big-potential couldn't just die, refused to die. And the last asylum for that man was reading. Ohhh boy, how much he liked reading. I even have a theory why: it's the only place where he can put that once-great mind to the test — imagination. He read everything, EVERYTHING — from drama to sci-fi, from AI-generated stories (yes, he fell so low) to genuine masterpieces, but his true and only love was magic. How can people not love MAGIC? Greg will do everything for Magic.
