Astraea is a teenage boy who moves through life unseen, his heterochromatic eyes marking him as an outcast. When a bus accident steals his life, he is discarded by the world even in death—stepped over, ignored, as if he never mattered. But fate, in a cruel twist, offers him a second chance: he is reborn in another world, a baby once again, still marked by the same difference. Shunned by his new family, he is abandoned in a forest, left to die. But the darkness doesn’t end there. A band of outcasts finds him, raising him as a slave, as Astraea battles to survive, to unravel the power that lies dormant inside him, and to find, at last, where he truly belongs.
