Meet Yo Granddaddy

Goose is an old fart who somehow lasted all the way until the end of existence.  The Rift War has been going on for twenty years and the inhabitants of Ferra have lost. To save his fallen war buddies, Goose cuts a shady deal with a sketchy dragon to get sent back in time. Of course, everything goes wrong before the first step. He nearly gets isekaied on the way and lost some pretty crucial memories. Dragons don't do favors for free and he can't remember what he promised. But hey! At least his pet parakeet came along for the ride. Kind of. He reawakens as his younger self, having lost all of his cultivation, the memories surrounding his death, but none of his skill and experience. More worryingly, events are not transpiring as he remembers. Is it his memory that’s faulty or did he get screwed? This time, he's determined to climb to the top with his parakeet Lime and whip his entire plane of existence into shape so they can win the war that’s coming.
