The Aetheric Crown

His father left him on an altar at three days old. He was supposed to die there. A passing nun found him. He was supposed to die at twelve when the Church threw him out. He survived that too. Nineteen years of a failing body, a town that hated him, and nothing to show for any of it. Then he fell into a sealed tomb and the dead mage inside took an interest in the dying boy. Alz will have to survive as a nobody, with nothing but his will intact. Enemies are in every shadow, kingdoms are moving, and a crown raises the odds.
