Transcendence: Waking Dream

Waking Dream is the beginning of the story of Nix, member of a species of superhuman magic-users known as Children of the Immortal, and follows her trials and tribulations throughout her life as a gladiatorial slave, one she must escape if she is ever to prove herself and become the galaxy's hero like the vanished Immortal before her. Inspired by and utilising aspects of work by Unleash The Archers, Seven Spires, and Lords of the Trident among others, this "New Wave Of Nice Metal Buds" fan-fiction aims to weave together the disparate lore of various metal bands along with my own original creations into a single cohesive universe.
