(Participating in the Royal Road Writathon challenge.) Note: The prequel scenarios to this story are being written currently, starting with the scenario: The Mirror of the Arches. The synopsis of this scenario is as follows: In prismatically-lit rooms, five Marionettes awaken in strange, never before seen beds. Who are they? Where is everyone? Where did they come from? They remember nothing of their past, seeking answers, roaming Kestrel Cave of the Kuiper Ocean. Meanwhile, Pluto of the Pluto Class had just arrived on Tempest Port of Neptune Nave, and it didn’t take long before he started hearing about a siege attempt by the Oceanites… In a universe where the Obsidian Oceans stretches endlessly with few landmasses, mankind has struggled but persevered against all odds. Nations and tribes gave rise to a few great powers and amongst them, the Enlightened Europan Empire seeks to further its expansion to not only spread its Enlightenment but to learn the mysteries of said Oceans. They employ not only warships but also Marionettes, mostly crystalline and partially human beings, Reborn as Ship, or sometimes as Jet Marionettes, to fight against the bizarre Horrors; the mysterious Marionettes of the Oceans, the Oceanites; enemies of Europa; and… perhaps even themselves. Princess Io, the Final Galilean Sister—otherwise known as Princess Ruby—is set to lead the Seventh Royal Fleet, the one and only Expedition Fleet, made to investigate the mysteries of the yet unexplored lands and waters of the universe.
