Mark always wanted to be a artist or a scientist but his father was a very practical man with both lots of good advice and a domineering personality. So mark grew up following the family business of appliance repair instead. But things change when Mark's father dies at the age of 55, from brain cancer and Mark has to take over as the head of the family business. Unknown to his family though, Mark had been working towards his dream for years now and in secret. When he met a old friend at the 10 year graduation reunion, the two dreamers hit it off and started work on an amazing new field of research. Creating bio energy or chi battery. While this research had been slow going, the new influx of funds from Mark's inheritance allows them to start making real progress at last.As the old saying goes. Build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door. What that saying fails to mention is that the world isn't beating that path to ask for the mouse trap nicely.When Mark and his college realize their dream of becoming real inventors its more like opening Pandora's box then winning a prize. Problems and consequences spring up that even the paranoid mark could never have seen coming. Fortunately his paranoia pays off and Mark is spared his colleges fate when the majority of their research and the prototype is taken. That same paranoia saves him again when one of his brothers poor decisions nearly gets him killed. Though the brush with death does nothing to lessen the pressure being exerted on him by the rest of the family as everyone competes for power and authority over the family estate and business. Mark must keep his family together and the family business going or loose his families legacy and the family estate he helped his father build while also trying to realize his dream of becoming a successful inventor. There will be many challenges to making this happen and he may have to let go of one to keep the other. Or he may loose both in a tragic fall from grace. Only time, grit and determination will tell.[Authors note : I choose the lit RPG righting style to accurately determine what my characters can actually do at a given point and time. This is helpful because what I have is a general idea of certain events that are going to happen and those events will have effects upon the characters which I will use the character sheets to determine how well they manage to respond. So, no guarantee on how long any given character will live or what will happen really. Lets explore how this world develops together.]
