Shmi is elevated into a foundational character with agency, mystery, and emotional gravity. The goal is to ‘immortalize’ Shmi by presenting her as the hidden architect, protector, and bearer of the Skywalker genesis  -  almost a sacred mother-figure in tone, but still grounded in science-fiction logic. The manuscript below keeps the core story draft while framing future revisions around this lens: The Hidden Mother first, Anakin second, and only later the wider Skywalker revelation.
