Long ago, the Summoned Hero faced the infamous Lord of Dungeons within his own throne room, prompting a battle that decided the fate of Urichal and its people. The Hero did not succeed. Neither did the Dungeon Lord. 300 years after the world ended, Dungeons still threaten the people of Larius, the supposed last city of humanity on a planet consumed by darkness and blight. Countermeasures in the forms of Dungeon Incursions do little to stop their spread of corruption, which overtake what little land remains. Amongst it all, a young man is given a dark power that can either save his world, or doom it to its inevitable end.
