"Don't go that way." When James watched the first people he met in this place die, he truly thought he was done for. Trapped in a high level dungeon just after spawning does make starting an adventure much harder. It's even worse when your only source of experience is an unlucky group of adventurers that are trapped in a time loop that ends in their death. But James has one advantage: his sponsor. Never has an angel ever sponsored an unlucky Specter, so James might just have a chance of surviving this. In this game, your sponsor decides how far you go. To live, you must continuously put yourself at risk to fight through the city of Divinas. At least, that's how life goes for most of the Specters. But James’ sponsor is outside of the normal. An angel that has watched over him during his life grew too attached and sponsored him. Betraying both the system and heaven itself, James has found himself in an even worse situation. The system doesn't want him or his sponsor involved in it's games, and will do anything in it's power to keep them out. He will need all the advantages and allies he can get to survive in the city, but maybe pushing things too far is just what his fellow Specters need to gain their freedom... Welcome, Specter, to Divinas. In this place, every building is a dungeon to be cleared, and the streets are filled with monsters. Entertain your sponsor by fighting and you might just live. But be warned, it's rather hard to entertain a cosmic being that has existed for longer than humanity has. This is my first work that I've published online! Any and all feedback is welcome!
