Captain Nolan Crossman died in combat. He woke up in the Underworld with a deck of cards, three doses of Sol to keep him alive, and a woman by the fire who could have killed him but didn't. The cards build territory. The Sol keeps him breathing. Willow keeps bringing him rocks she thinks are pretty and killing everything that gets too close. To survive, he'll need to play every card right, and figure out who exactly is it that decided to sit next to his fire.
