Meet Mark, your average, run-of-the-mill guy who, one moment, was at a party, and the next, in the world of his favorite franchise: Pokémon. Only… the world he knew doesn’t behave quite the same. Filled with delusions and false bravado on his first day, he vows to make the most of this new world. Unfortunately, things have a habit of going south around him. Getting by is going to require a lot more than game knowledge and wishful thinking.Good thing he has Deerling, his trusted partner, emotional support, and, more often than not, the one forced to witness his less-than-stellar decisions. However, he isn’t aiming to be a hero, just trying to figure things out quietly and avoid drawing attention to himself, though the world seems to have other plans. For now, figuring things out is a lot easier when he’s not doing it alone. — This is a long fic. It will feature known and new characters, new Gyms, routes never seen before, new regions, Megas, and new mechanics, all in due time.
