Winst: The Murim War — Righteous vs Demonic

Winst: The Murim War — Righteous vs Demonic

by DarkExpansion

Urban FantasyProgressionAnti-Hero LeadWar and MilitaryWuxia

Eight hundred years ago, the martial world nearly destroyed itself. The Tianma Sect — a fanatical cult that worshipped the Celestial Demon — waged a war of annihilation across the Central Plains of China. They burned villages, stacked corpses into demonic formations, and slaughtered anyone who refused to kneel. The Nine Great Sects of the Righteous Alliance united to stop them. The war lasted seven days. Over five thousand warriors fought. More than half of them died. The Tianma Sect was broken — but not destroyed. Its survivors scattered across the globe like poisonous spores, burrowing into governments, militaries, corporations, and religions. For eight centuries, they grew in silence. Waiting. The Righteous factions scattered too. They followed the Silk Road into Europe, married into local families, built fortunes. By the 21st century, their descendants controlled the Eastern Capital Group (ECG) — one of Silicon Valley's most powerful investment firms. The dark factions — independent criminal empires with their own code of honor — spread across Africa, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and the Indian Ocean, operating as Pandaemonium, Darah Hitam, Kan Gölgesi, Ghost Fleet, and Red Smoke. Now the Celestial Demon is returning. The Tianma Sect has emerged from the shadows, forging alliances with the dark factions. A global war is coming — fought not with swords on a single battlefield, but with AI, cyborgs, brainwashing technology, nuclear submarines, and ancient martial arts, simultaneously across every continent. In the middle of all this — a seventeen-year-old pizza delivery boy in LA's Koreatown has no idea any of it exists. Winst is half-Asian, half-white, broke, and surviving on tips and back-alley poker games. His world is small: Kim's Pizza, a broken elevator, a two-dollar-fifty tip, and eighty-seven dollars in his pocket. That changes in one night when he follows a mysterious stranger into a house full of unconscious bodies and walks out with $1.37 million in grocery bags. That stranger is from the martial world. And Winst just stepped onto its radar. Pulled into the orbit of a local cartel as a drug runner, Winst discovers he has an unsettling talent for survival. He reads people the way he reads poker hands. He builds systems where others see chaos. He negotiates with a gun pressed to his forehead — and wins. His street instincts, forged in LA's back alleys, turn out to be the perfect training ground for the most dangerous power struggle on Earth. As Winst rises from pizza boy to the leader of Tie Quan Men — the Iron Fist Sect, a technologically advanced martial faction based out of a Las Vegas mega-casino — he must navigate a world where ancient cultivation masters coexist with AI-equipped cyborg armies, where trillion-dollar righteous factions are indistinguishable from corporations, and where the line between hero and monster depends entirely on who's telling the story. But Winst isn't a chosen one. There's no prophecy. No destiny. He's a kid from the streets who bluffs better than he fights, prepares seven contingency plans behind every grin, and treats every impossible situation the way he treats a bad poker hand: You don't need good cards. You just need to make the situation your cards. With a ragtag alliance of misfits, cyborgs, and retired professors who quote Roman generals, Winst must do what the Righteous Alliance couldn't do alone — stop the Celestial Demon's return and survive a war fought across six continents, all while keeping the people he loves alive. The pizza can wait.
