Solace of Rain

In a world where chaos invades the very essence of reality and misery is the norm, 23-year old David, who suffered an unjust life on Earth, finds himself reborn against his will. His new reality is one where only the most monstrous of men and beasts can thrive. One where excess cruelty is rewarded and "hope" is often considered a tool for the powerful to dictate and crush as they please. In this world rife with monsters, magic, and primordial deities, David is forced to adapt or die, and he soon discovers that death is not the option he desperately wants it to be. Follow along as he struggles to survive in a world that appears hostile to all things living, having only two things to aid his journey. A strange and seemingly divine system which awakens and empowers him, and more importantly, the promise of the Goddess who cursed him to live again. A promise that he will one day know the happiness he was denied in his previous life.
