Ages passed on Manath, with a balance between Creation and Destruction -- until Destruction tricked and captured Creation. In the centuries since society has collapsed into a near bronze age, while giant armies pour blood by the rivers on the land's ley lines to keep the prison intact. Favinr has come of age to take the trials to join an Army, the only path to citizenship for a man. If he survives the trials he'll be marked by the priestesses with the first Rune 'Hagal' binding himself to the one true god, and begin his 8 years of bloody worship.
