In the harsh slums of Zarwick, two boys with mysterious powers struggle to survive in a world that fears and exploits people like them. Solis, who wields the power of light and darkness, and Ryker, who controls electricity, come from very different pasts—but are brought together by the loss and pain as is the cruelty of their world. As they grow closer, they form a brotherhood and begin navigating the violent underworld around them. But when fragments of their pasts start resurfacing, they are pulled toward something far bigger and more dangerous than they could ever anticipate. In a world that shows no mercy, Solis and Ryker must depend on one another inorder to survive and decide what kind of people they want to become.
