A Magic System? What's That?

"What's a Status?" the young adult asked as he floated towards the grounded men who spoke of stats as if they were common knowledge. Maybe they were to everyone besides him. When a 19 year old Alien Boy who is used to manipulating light and floating where ever his family points him gets Isekai'd into a world of systems, alongside a young girl who doesn't realize her potential in the craft. He learns that maybe he did have things a tad bit too simple in his previous world. In need of money and in want of glory. He decides to form a team to conquer dungeons, guilds, and more of the things that plague this fantasy world he finds himself in.  Along his journey he comes across another teenager who doesn't belong in this world. Calli Victoria, a young girl who longs for a place in the world yet often ignores this yearning for what she feels like doing in the moment, discovers she comes from a long line of witches. Choosing to believe her mother's childhood stories, Callie opens her family's grimoire after the years of putting it aside. In doing so she accidentally opened a portal and through it unleashed The Old Gods, and The Original Sins, both of which have come to claim the world as their own. Unlocking her power of situational foresight, she foresaw the potential destruction the world could face, and without a second thought she stepped through to face them, grimoire in hand. Now tasked by her grimoire's guardian to defeat beings of untold strengths, Callie finds herself discovering more about magic, herself, and her ancestors throughout her travels in this foreign, enchanted world.
