Dragon of the Canvas

Over two thousand years ago, dragons descended upon Earth. Over two thousand years later, they will grace humanity again. As far as Jessica Wilde knew, dragons were just creatures of myth, ones she drew to stave off a hate that had made her feared by her classmates. Then her family moved to Vermont, and the discovery of a seemingly mundane gemstone leads Jessica to learn something she didn't know. Dragons hide amongst humanity, and while she was born human, dragon blood had been given to her after a horrific car crash years earlier. That blood has now awoken, and with it she is no longer human. Man and dragon once again meet, and with Jessica's awakening an ancient threat has awoken from slumber. As a conflict long dormant gains new life, she now finds herself forced to fight for the survival of both species. Thankfully, her new draconic body also comes with a powerful gift: the ability to create any non-living object through the paint on her wings.
