These stories follow the events of the main body of work, House of Figs and the fictional and non fictional lives that were impacted by the climax in the Observatory, when their worlds were nearly stripped bare. Faelan of Iffah has always felt that he's been split between two worlds. He is the 3rd son of the late King Cadeyrn of the highborn elves of Iffah and dessert chef to House of Figs. He maintains a fragile balance between them which is threatened by the arrival of his half human sibling, by elves following his example, by civil uprising, by revolution and by ugly truths that tear his very soul. But none of these compare to the dreams that come to him, calling him forth to the sparkling white shores of the Promised Land.
