Beloved By Death Itself

Maia, a quiet hermit in the woods, comes to find that everything around her slowly withers and dies. Birds above her house fall dead, the flowers she tends to wither, the very ceiling of her hovel seems to rot with age. Determined to figure out the cause, she abandons her forest hermitage to travel outward, to the Godsblooded capital of the Iskariot dynasty. Unbeknownst to her, she is genuinely beloved by the god of death herself, and her love manifests in strange ways. Will Maia be able to unravel the mystery surrounding the miasma of death around her?
