An ocean of withered yellow grass stretched as far as the eye could see and smoky clouds hung in the sickly dusty blue sky. The smell of pool chlorine poisoned the air with its horrid stench. Thousands of little round inky black pools sit in the distance, unblinking. Lightning flashes on the horizon, the shockwave of thunder radiating across the skies. You are Damien Baxter, and you are backed into a corner. Just behind you lies a sheer cliff face, far too long a drop to jump into the murky gray waters. Even if you did jump, why would you want to?
