Gaiden: Wings Lit Ablaze

"If destiny cannot change, then there is no hope for me. So I choose to believe, no matter how foolish it is." An impossible meeting of paths that were never meant to cross. Where two worlds of modernity and magic collide, so similar yet so different. In the crossing, the rules of nature begin to unravel and the myths of the past take form as fanged beasts, but a new window that they never believed existed for themselves also opens. Two mages of flame and thunder seek to understand the nature of their meeting. Those without a place to belong ask one another—are you the one who can see me for what I am? Two mages of the white road walk to quell the risen youkai. The aimless blade seeks its purpose as the unstained dove flies in the wake of the blackened beast. And at the end of their parallel journeys, the same field of flowers awaits—beautiful and terrible, where the truths of their crossing paths and of their reality are laid bare. Expect: • Parallel storylines that converge at the finale • Lush character exploration and set spanning from mage academy to urban slice of life to frozen former warzones to intense gripping combat • Detailed, tactical battles making fullest use of the magic powers at hand • Deep dives into what makes the cast tick • Light novel-inspired writing style and optional AI illustrations • Crossover with no required reading; newcomers can dive in immediately!
