The World is plagued by Disease. When humanity became able to treat any disease and finally thought to have found the "Pill of Immortality", the cure to cancer; They descended. Mortality rate: 100%. Diseased and deceased have bevome synonymous with one another. The world could only watch as the Nova Diseases tore the world apart and indiscriminately killed one after another. A diagnosis is a death sentence. "The people don't trust doctors anymore." The world had drastically changed and when all hope was lost they appeared. An independent group calling themselves 'White Blood', able to cure again. Unbeknownst to the public, the Nova Diseases take root in the host body resembling a monster. To kill the beast is to cure the patient, to save a life. 'White Blood' succeeded in curing indiscriminately, establishing their name in history, saving the world, until they disappeared with the death of their leader. 2070. 19 years old Lucian Morgenröte spent the last ten years becoming a doctor with the sole purpose of curing his mother, ridden by Nova Disease. He joins the reestablished 'White Blood', but they have changed. With their return, a taboo was issued. "We won't heal any Nova Diseases." But the young boy is not alone. There are others like him. People that want to cure this diseased world as well; but the ones who heal can be broken, too. The young boy, who spent his life chasing hope grasps at anything to cure his beloved mother, Lucian will try to save everyone. That is what he swore by; be it his mother or the companions he makes along the journey—All life is sacred. Will the young boy finally be able to seize the light and protect his cherished ones? ________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Yes, I drew the cover art myself, how could you tell? Jokes aside I know it's bad, I plan to commission a nicer one in future, though this would essentially act as the rough concept art with the ideas I had for it. The current plan of release is: 28th March - First 3 chapters release With that day I will set a date from which on one chapter a day, until chapter 10, will release. After that it will steady to one chapter every 2 days until a major arc concludes.
