A Taste of Survival

THE TOWER WILL OPEN MAY 1ST Together with 3,404 other people, Anna was summoned from the hospital into a new hell: into an universe-spanning reality show in which so-called viewers and sponsors decide which hells the participants must go through in order to save their world. But there are two catches. The first catch is: As soon as a single participant reaches a new level, all beings and dangers of that level will appear in the participants’ home world. So the participants only have two options. Either they all starve in the waiting room without ever entering a level, or they try to reach the top as quickly as possible and help their world with the abilities they gain. But the higher they climb, the worse it becomes for their home world. The second catch: Our protagonist has regained something through the game that she had long believed to be lost. She can move on her own again and can taste properly again. And accordingly, she sets herself three goals: First: Get out of this tower. Preferably later rather than sooner. Second: Try to survive. And third: All the tastes I could no longer experience before, I will now feel to my heart’s content. Whether raw or fried, boiled or just some strange tree bark from across the way—everything that is edible will be tried and enjoyed… as long as she can survive.
