All she wanted was to see the stars, not break the world. In a dying city, the Church’s word is law. Their doctrine claims the walls protect humanity from death beyond, and their angel machines and demon cyborgs take care of any who question it. But Eve, an angel that shouldn’t exist, awakens with forbidden code in her head that reveals it’s all a lie. Hunted by an Archbishop breaking his own doctrine to possess her, Eve flees into the city’s underbelly. There, she finds proof she isn’t insane: a woman with constellations etched into her skin and outsiders who have already rejected the Church’s lies. The code she carries can either expose the truth or give the Church the ultimate weapon to enslave humanity forever. To see the stars, she must first destroy the world that caged them.
